At Starbound, our purpose is to provide high-quality dance education in a supportive and empowering environment. Through expert instruction, performance opportunities, and a focus on personal growth, we aim to help every student reach their full potential—on the stage and in life.

To inspire a lifelong love of dance by nurturing confident, creative, and disciplined individuals both in and out of the studio. We strive to be a positive and inclusive space where dancers of all ages and skill levels can express themselves, grow as artists, and build lasting friendships.

Being a teacher at Starbound has been one of the most rewarding positions within my life.
While I may come to the studio to teach dance, what I've truly been given is so much more. Every class is an opportunity to watch these young dancers grow—not only in their technique and skill level, but in their confidence, character, and love for themselves. Watching my students accomplish something they once thought was impossible is one of the most rewarding feelings imaginable.

“Starbound has always been more than just a dance studio to me. I grew up here, spending countless evenings within these walls, making memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Dance taught me so much more than steps and routines. It gave me confidence, taught me time management, showed me responsibility, and helped shape the person I am today. When I was given the opportunity to become a teacher, I didn't hesitate. I wanted to give back to the place that gave me so much. My goal is to help my students fall in love with dance the way I did and to show them that dance is about so much more than performing. It is a place to grow, build confidence, create lifelong friendships, and escape from the stresses of everyday life.
Starbound is a safe space, not only for me, but for every person who walks through its doors. It is a place where everyone belongs, where dreams are encouraged, and where memories are made. No matter where life takes me, I will never be able to thank Starbound enough for everything it has given me. It will always be my home, forever and always.”
